Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
I provide once to twice weekly psychodynamic psychotherapy. Within this frame, I provide a safe holding environment to explore complex feelings and make sense of these in context of upbringing and prior experiences.
Psychological Evaluations
I have extensive experience conducting psychological evaluations to facilitate procuring services, clarifying diagnosis, and informing treatment planning.
Individual/Group Supervision and Consultation
Some of the more impactful experiences of my training have been those in supervision, where I was encouraged to engage in self-reflection and examination in an effort to know myself better so as to allow for more effective use of myself in the therapy room. I also believe in continuing to seek out supervision even when no longer required to foster continued growth.
“It is a rare person who can cut himself off from mediate and immediate relations with others for long spaces of time without undergoing a deterioration in personality.” “It is easier to act yourself into a new way of feeling than to feel yourself into a new way of acting.”
Harry Stack Sullivan, American psychiatrist
