Areas of specialty

Relationship Issues

Training in a variety of different settings working with a myriad of patients from different backgrounds has helped me hone in on universal themes in relationship difficulties. Often, these tie to patterns of behavior modeled in earlier life which lead to repeated dynamics later. While these may be distressing, their familiarity makes them compelling. Therapy can help to shed light on these and facilitate new, healthier ways of thinking and acting.

Older Adults

I enjoy working with older adults and do not take the privilege of bearing witness to accumulated experiences lightly. I have special expertise in working with beginning stage memory disorders.

Teens and Young Adults

I have special skill in connecting with young adults, particularly those who struggle to connect with others. I especially enjoy entering into their worlds, whether that is through exploring the games they enjoy or their virtual selves, as these are spaces that are rich in important openings for understanding.

Twice a Week

I offer twice weekly therapy, which offers a chance to get to know one another more quickly and enables deeper investigation into troubling thoughts and feelings.
